The concept of this pic is inspired by a)Xan's conversation with Bhaalspawn (friendship talk), about Bhaalspawn's fate after death b) death sequence for both games.

I realize that Anomen is hated as a romance option - because his romance is annoying and badly written. From my point of view it gets better in ToB, because we can notice his change: he cares more about Bhaalspawn and stops boasting. However, I wanted to show him as a character, who was tragic at one point. When he would learn the truth that Bhaalspawns cannot be resurrected and would disentagrate after death. I mean was is tragic for him is the fact he's unaware of the situation he's involved in.
Well, Xan, Edwin and Kivan knew that from their previous journey. Kelsey is a smarter guy, so he would realize the truth sooner or later. Tsujatha comes from a different universe and he doesn't care about gods of Toril.

At their first meeting, Anomen tried to court Jaheira, because he thought she was the real leader of the pack (and he even thought Eria was Jaheira's daughter, since both of them are half-elfs xD). He took Eria for a fragile, unexperienced lass, which annoyed Eria and made her say some harsh words toward him. However, when she started an uprising against Hendak, he joined in and even took out one guard when he was about to strike Eria. After this incident Eria proposed that Anomen joined the party.
At first they didn't get along. Anomen still treated Eria as a possible lady to court, he boasted all about his achievements and complained over and over... He still treated her as a child, since she was more delicate than Jaheira or Minsc. This impression was fueled when she asked for Minsc's help many times - Anomen thought that she had to rely on others, because she was not strong enough. Every time Anomen started complaining or boasting, Eria would react in a cold, sometimes harsh way. It was Jaheira who made Anomen realize how much Eria went through and she did not show her emotions.
When Eria was absolutely fed up with Anomen and she was about to dismiss him from the party, Anomen received the message about his sister's death. Eria pitied him and tried to comfort him in any way. Their relationship had gotten better from that point. Eria conviced him that getting revenge was not his sister's wish. Thanks to the leader's help, Anomen was knighted and his first vow was to protect Eria and aid her in her quest.
They still had their ups and downs, because Anomen would say some stupid things without thinking...For example when Eria mourned after Yoshimo's death.
She turned his love confession once - in Brynnlaw, before entering Spellhold. She was especially devasted and furious when he called her a monster while seeing her Slayer transformation.

One thing Eria could not stand - it was Anomen's attempts to shield Eria... Anomen didn't want to loose Eria and he felt it was his obligation to do so and Eria hated to think that more people could have died because of her.
They will evetually get married a couple of years after the events in ToB and have three children: Ajantis, a paladin of order of the Radiant Heart, Gavin - a ranger of Umar Hills and Sheria, a bard.

_{One funny thing - While playing BG2 as Eria and Aurora I had a bug which made me romance Jaheira. It ruined my romances with Kivan and Anomen XD'}
